Reformed faith salsa style

I thought of you when I read this quote from “Lectures in Systematic Theology: Doctrine of God” by Greg Nichols –

“Word. At the end of the day, we aim to honor God. He is worthy that we should study his Word carefully, present its doctrines comprehensively and clearly, and apply them faithfully and experimentally. The riches of God’s creation are worthy of painstaking investigation with a view to glorifying him for what men discover thereby. How much more does God’s Word deserve painstaking study and analysis with a view to blessing him for the riches of truth contained therein? Therefore, ultimately, we pursue systematics because we love God , love his Word, and love to explore and learn about him. We do all this because we aim to praise him for who he is and for what he has done.”
