Christians and Covid-19 and whether not to go or go to Church this Sunday

Christians (you and me)are you being like this during this time:

Seeing with your heart and mind Christ like this:

And becoming like this:

And becoming like this:

And becoming like this:

And assume our battle positions:

In church or live-streaming we must wear this:

With these war cry’s not only on our lips but our hearts and minds:
You’re not sinning for canceling your worship gathering tomorrow and you’re not holier if you’re having a worship gathering tomorrow.
However, you will be sinning if you do not preach Christ:
And assume our battle positions and wait for our marching orders;

With these war cries not only on our lips but in our hearts and minds:

Encouraging each other:

Joshua 23:

6 “Be very strong† and continue obeying all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, so that you do not turn from it to the right or left 7 and so that you do not associate with these nations remaining among you. Do not call on the names of their gods or make an oath to them;† do not serve them or bow in worship to them. 8 Instead, be loyal to the Lord your God, as you have been to this “The Lord has driven out great and powerful nations before you,† and no one is able to stand against you to this day.† 10 One of you routed a thousand† because the Lord your God was fighting for you, as he promised.†† 11 So diligently watch yourselves! Love the Lord your God! 12 If you ever turn away and become loyal to the rest of these nations remaining among you,† and if you intermarry or associate with them† and they with you, 13 know for certain that the Lord your God will not continue to drive these nations out before you. They will become a snare and a trap for you,† a sharp stick† for your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you disappear from this good land the Lord your God has given you.

Taking Church Online in a Coronavirus Age

Secure in our times of rest:

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. – Psalm 91:1,5,11

Dustin Benge (@DustinBenge)3/11/20, 3:41 PMIf I thought for one second that a virus was outside the sovereign will, control, and dominion of God, I don’t think I could sleep tonight.

Confidence in the sovereignty of God in all that affects us is crucial to our trusting Him. If there is a single event in all of the universe that can occur outside of God’s sovereign control then we cannot trust Him. His love may be infinite, but if His power is limited and His purpose can be thwarted, we cannot trust Him.

  1. I believe that every particle of dust that dances in the sunbeam does not move an atom more or less than God wishes – that every particle of spray that dashes against the steamboat has its orbit, as well as the sun in the heavens – that the chaff from the hand of the winnower is steered as the stars in their courses. The creeping of an aphid over the rosebud is as much fixed as the march of the devastating pestilence – the fall of leaves from a poplar is as fully ordained as the tumbling of an avalanche. He who believes in God must believe this truth. There is no standing point between this and Atheism. There is no halfway between an Almighty God, who works all things according to the good pleasure of His will, and no God at all! (Spurgeon)

I had to repost again we christains forget or suffer from selective amnesia selective by us

By others or life’s crosses and storms…

To embrace discontentment that ultimately we charge God with….and we are like the ancient Israelites looking nostalgically back at our Egypt God has delivered us from…

Not just be happy for the other persons blessing

Of 2019,Shazam and the coming of 2020

On the weekend of April 6th 2019 when Shazam premiered-I went to see it with my extended family to see it…

In Gods wisdom and providence-and All He is…Would use it as a memorial stone of His goodness and mercy to His children – in particular to me and my family…engraved on it is:

Matthew 11:

28 “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.† 29 Take up my yoke and learn from me,† because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.† 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Yet I did not see in my blindness caused by my dark time of the soul-my personal

thorn in my flesh:

1 Corinthians 12:

8 Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times that it would leave me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power† is perfected in weakness.”†

Heb 4:16 KJV

The Throne of Grace by C. H. Spurgeon

I forget like the ancient Israelites:

Grumbling In The Desert

doubting His goodness,His purpose and His care and guidance of me individually..

That First “Christmas “ when:

John → Prologue 1 In the beginning† was the Word,† and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.† 2 He was with God in the beginning.† 3 All things were created† through him,† and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. 4 In him was life,†† and that life was the light† of men. 5 That light shines† in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome† it.† 6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John.† 7 He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.† 8 He was not the light, but he came to testify† about the light. 9 The true light† that gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.†† 10 He was in the world, and the world was created† through him, and yet the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive† him,† he gave them the right† to be† children† of God,† to those who believe† in his name,† 13 who were born,† not of natural descent,† or of the will† of the flesh,† or of the will of man,† but of God.† 14 The Word† became flesh† and dwelt† among us. We observed his glory,† the glory as the one and only† Son† from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John testified concerning him and exclaimed, “This was the one of whom I said, ‘The one coming after me† ranks ahead of me,† because he existed before me.’ ”)† 16 Indeed, we have all received grace† upon† grace from his fullness, 17 for the law was given through Moses;† grace and truth† came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God. The one and only† Son, who is himself God and† is at the Father’s† side—he has revealed him.†

I realized that Christ not only in general is the light of the world 🌎 but personal and specifically (in any believers life be they a thief in the cross to seasoned saints-All period…have, equally, access, possessions, guidance, care and privilege (not a welfare type right unbelievers believe and demand and expect as manifest destiny (and us Christians are sometimes not to far behind)

But specifically me:

After five-six plus years of dialysis and being on the kidney list and me losing my job…He came into my life at the nick of time His wise timing not mine:

Like my Indiana Jones:

or the old laurel hardy march of the wooden soldiers fond memoirists of my childhood He came into my life at the nick of time His wise timing not mine:

Like my superman:

And my flash:

For that I am always grateful
