Gee I always get emotional with the saying of the pledge of allegiance and the saying of the national of anthem

I see

I know

I recognize

I understand

I am not wearing rose colored glasses:

America has blemishes, has wrongs and has sins

In the past

In the present

And In the future

Yet it has done good

And I am reminded of Christ and church

His bride whose wedding dress

Was blemished and stained with sins and wrongs and crimes

Yet He loved her so much that He gave up His life for her:

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

And not only that He is faithful to His beloved church….

Likewise I love ❤️ America

As a child of immigrants

First As a christain

As a citizen

As my native born country

As a American

As a Puerto rican 🇵🇷

As a child of immigrants

And As a Hispanic

And I am reminded of these bible verses and I I end with this:

Matthew 22:21 Jesus said “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.”

Romans 13:1 “Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and those which exist are established by God.”

2019: Happy Father’s Day!!!

This is me before I met Wanda

Happy Father’s Day!!!🤗🤗🤗

Sometimes we are blindly taken for granted

Sometimes society treats us as invisible men at best

And at worst non existent

Yet day in and day out

365 days a year

Supporting our families

Supporting our kids

Trying to do the best to our abilities

To be a Good father

To our children and those who may not be our children

Just another regular day for some fathers

Nothing special planned by

loved ones

Just another regular day for some fathers

Nothing special planned by your children’s elementary teacher

Just another regular day for some fathers

Nothing special planned by your children schools either

It just simply like another regular day…

And for any father it hurts not being honored, cherished and appreciative

For media and society

Would rather most of the time 99%

To focus on dead beat dads, absent fathers and bad fathers

And in a way we get lost at best and at worst get

lumped in with them…

Exiled to a occasional special interest news

Not only chipping away at our manhood

But chipping away at our fatherhood

Till we no longer exist as men

But as fathers as well

Joining the fate of the Dodo bird, passenger pigeon and the dinosaur…

So once again Happy Father’s Day!!!

Part B: More Father’s Day thoughts reprised

Taken for granted

Bad fathers practically get all the media attention and press

Assumed to be a absent father

Or never had a active father

Or simply do not see the importance of a father

in a Upcoming Gender class society where everything is acceptable but biologically defined And God defined gender is a crime warranting death….

Just chipping away at our manhood in the eyes of our children who needs the only two biological genders defined in Reality not by the imaginations, speculations of our deceitful and God solely rebellious hearts

Mark 7:20-23

20 And He said,  “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21 “For from within, out of the heart of men,  proceed evil thoughts,  adulteries,  fornications, murders, 22 “thefts,  covetousness, wickedness,  deceit, lewdness, an evil eye,  blasphemy,  pride, foolishness.23 “All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

as examples in their lives being the salt and example for future generations…..

Sunday’s should not be compromised

Gee I am 100% in biblical agreement with Mr.Dash because the church I am attending with my family decided to cancel Sunday’s services because of New Years and never in my 35 years as a Christian first time ever I experienced this..

the churches I was in had somewhat Similar occasions to this for other special services but we either :

1: rent a temporary space for the day (in the reality that today churches rent spaces and cannot afford their own building are at the mercy of their landlord even if it is a church -it’s still full of redeemed sinners prone to rivalries, jealousies and mafia family mentality especially when a new church rents their space and are more successful thus the mafia mentality May claim their hearts and minds to think this is my territory go find your own and may put up obstacles…..When they have forgotten that it is not they that have the throne of the kingdom -But they all serve the only one that is:Christ and Christ alone)….

2:combined services with another church

Gee come to think of it I just can’t fathom in my wildest thoughts God saying let’s take a break this Sunday or we won’t meet because the landlord needs the space…Especially Sunday the Lords day He appointed He consecrated……He created-

His special day out of seven to worship Him specifically as we begin another week with our hearts minds lives drawing grace for whatever life would throw our way that week be it good or bad or both…

Gee then I realized this: the first and last Sunday is a macrocosm of mans microcosm of his relationship with God:

Gee i just can’t fathom in my wildest thoughts God saying let’s take a break this Sunday or we won’t meet because the landlord needs the space…Especially Sunday the Lords day He appointed He consecrated He created-

His special day out of seven to worship Him specifically as we begin another week with our hearts minds lives drawing grace for whatever life would throw our way that week be it good or bad or both…

Till this day I found it spiritually abnormal or Ripley’s believe or not odd at worst

And strange and uncomfortable at best

And Like Spider-Man’s spidey sense

my spiritual discernment was going off at a alarming rate something was definitely wrong-leaving me spiritually unease with this decision…

Gee further then I realized this: the first and last Sunday is a macrocosm of mans microcosm of his relationship with God:

-Our life and death:

First created By the Lord for life(morningTime of a person)

Second the individual walking with God(evening)

Third the individual falling asleep resting or not resting in the Lord(night)

And Lastly waking up in the morning again for the believer in the power of Christ’s resurrection for heavenly bliss and service-for the rest that died without Christ for eternal destruction and punishment…

-You begin the day waking up with God

You continue walking with God during the day

Asking God for not only grace but wisdom to apply your christains faith at work, school, etc.

and other everyday events that life may throw out at you likewise

-You begin the year with God as The Church

You continue the year walking with God as The Church

And end the year(New Years eve) with God as The Church

Psalm 143:8, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my soul”

Psalm 91:

He shall cover you with His feathers,

And under His wings you shall take refuge;

His truth shall be your shield and [b]buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,

Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,

Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

Valley of Vision the book:

Thou hast promised thy beloved sleep;

Give me restoring rest needful for

  tomorrow’s toil;

If dreams be mine,

let them not be tinged with evil.

Let thy Spirit make my time of repose

a blessed temple of his holy presence.

May my frequent lying down make me familiar

    with death,

the bed I approach remind me of the grave,

the eyes I now close picture to me their

    final closing.

Keep me always ready, waiting for admittance

    to thy presence.

Weaken my attachment to earthly things.

May I hold life loosely in my hand,

knowing that I receive it on condition

    of its surrender;

As pain and suffering betoken transitory health,

may I not shrink from a death that introduces me

to the freshness of eternal youth.

I retire this night in full assurance of one day

    awaking with thee.

All glory for this precious hope,

  for the gospel of grace,

for thine unspeakable gift of Jesus,

for the fellowship of the Trinity.

Withhold not thy mercies in the night season;

  thy hand never wearies,

  thy power needs no repose,

  thine eye never sleeps.

Help me when I helpless lie,

when my conscience accuses me of sin,

when my mind is harassed by foreboding

when my eyes are held awake by personal

Show thyself to me as the God of all grace,

    love and power;

thou hast a balm for every wound,

    a solace for all anguish,

    a remedy for every pain,

    a peace for all disquietude.

Permit me to commit myself to thee

    awake or asleep.

Compassionate Lord, Thy mercies have brought me to the dawn of another day. Vain will be its gift unless I grow in grace, increase in knowledge, ripen for spiritual harvest. Let me this day know Thee as Thou art, love Thee supremely, serve Thee wholly, admire Thee fully. Through grace let my will respond to Thee, knowing that power to obey is not in me, but that Thy free love alone enables me to serve Thee. Here then is my empty heart, overflow it with Thy choicest gifts; here is my blind understanding, chase away its mists of ignorance.

O ever watchful Shepherd, lead, guide, tend me this day; without Thy restraining rod I err and stray. Hedge up my path lest I wander into unwholesome pleasure, and drink its poisonous streams; direct my feet that I be not entangled in Satan’s secret snares, nor fall into his hidden traps. Defend me from assailing foes, from evil circumstances, from myself. My adversaries are part and parcel of my nature; they cling to me as my very skin; I cannot escape their contact. In my rising up and sitting down they barnacle me; they entice with constant baits; my enemy is within the citadel. Come with almighty power and cast him out, pierce him to death, and abolish in me every particle of carnal life this day.

O God the author of all good, I come to You for the grace another day will require for its duties and events. I step out into a wicked world; I carry about with me an evil heart. I know that without You I can do nothing, that everything with which I shall be concerned, however harmless in itself, may prove an occasion of sin or folly, unless I am kept by Your power. Hold me up and I shall be safe.

Preserve my understanding from subtilty of error, my affections from love of idols, my character from stain of vice, my profession from every form of evil. May I engage in nothing in which I cannot implore Your blessing, and in which I cannot invite Your inspection. Prosper me in all lawful undertakings, or prepare me for disappointments. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with food convenient for me, lest I be full and deny You and say, Who is the Lord? or be poor, and steal, and take Your name in vain.

May every creature be made good to me by prayer and Your will. Teach me how to use the world and not abuse it, to improve my talents, to redeem my time, to walk in wisdom toward those without, and in kindness to those within, to do good to all men, and especially to my fellow Christians.  And to You be the glory.

And I agree again with Mr.Dash

That it attacks directly Gods teaching on the church

And sets a precedent for further moving away to embrace judges 17:6 spawn of wandering from Gods word: our heavenly compass not only for individuals but corporately for the church…this is engrained since eve changed added to His word when she said :

Dotting biblical history from Aaron’s sons:

Leviticus 10

Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command.

So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD.

To the Golden Calf:(and beyond)

Exodus 32:1–35

So these shenanigans no longer surprise me in fact nothing surprises me no more but the grief I feel remains vigorously constant…

The renovated garage church

I remember we were looking for a biblical church and we thought we had found one.So we were going there consistently and one day we got there late because of the train. When a blond lady a church greeter approached us and told us coldly you cant go to the service nor your kids to Sunday school you all are late so you have to go to upstairs to the cafeteria and listen to the worship service there….

Reminds me of the parable of the workers:

They came late but they may have the same zeal of those who came on time or even more

Especially those who came on time and are content to sit just there each Sunday doing nothing with their God given gifts to praise God or edify the church…

Gee made us feel like those African Americans who were told you can’t worship in the front only in the back or the balcony:

As future note we never went back….we were the first nor we will be the last regretfully…

Makes you think sometimes you make a person leader when they are:

1 Timothy 3:

1The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. 2Therefore an overseera must be above reproach, the husband of one wife,b sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, 5for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God’s church? 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.

-Judas money hungry

John 12:1–8

Mary Anoints Jesus at Bethany

12 Six days before ithe Passover, jJesus therefore came to Bethany, kwhere Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. So they gave a dinner for him there. lMartha served, and Lazarus was one of those reclining with him at table. mMary therefore took a pound1 of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said, “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii2 and ngiven to the poor?” He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and nhaving charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it. Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it3 for the day of my burial. For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.”

-Simon spiritually power hungry

Acts 8:9-25 New International Version (NIV)

Simon the Sorcerer

Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, 10 and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” 11 They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. 12 But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.

14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. 15 When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, 16 because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money 19 and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

20 Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. 22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. 23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”

-Eve usurper of power

Genesis 3:

16 Then he said to the woman,

“I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy,

and in pain you will give birth.

And you will desire to control your husband,

but he will rule over you.[c]”

-Religious power hungry

Acts 8:18–25

18 Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money, 19 saying, “Give me this power also, so that anyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” 20 But Peter said to him, e“May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God fwith money! 21 You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for gyour heart is not right before God. 22 Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, hif possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you. 23 For I see that you are in ithe gall3 of bitterness and in jthe bond of iniquity.” 24 And Simon answered, k“Pray for me to the Lord, that nothing of what you have said may come upon me.”

25 Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, lpreaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

-Do not be like the gentiles lording over:

Matthew 20:25-28 (NIV)

25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Yet she or me or us will ever know we were obstacles to the faith here but we will know in the judgement of rewards and God tells you are getting this but not this because:

We will understood fully

And our mouths will be closed not because of loss of words-

But in agreement ;

What is the purpose of the Judgement Seat of Christ?

A modern day psalms part1

Gee I wish my old church would take this to ❤️

Most church members don’t see their churches clearly.

In almost all of Thom S. Rainer’s consultations, church members perceive their church to be friendly. But as he surveyed guests, he found that the guests typically saw church members as unfriendly. The perception chasm existed because the members were indeed friendly . . . to one another.

The guests felt like they crashed a private party.

Gee the only time they would call when I was recovering from my kidney transplant (still am)was to assign wanda to help in kids school-not to ask how I was doing or show Christian charity and ask my wife if her and our Kid’s needed some type of support. And I knew they knew as well that they knew my condition when I emailed the pastor diplomatically.

It just taught me that a Idol is not only made in stone or people but they can be ministries programs, age groups, other groups we use to divide into or departments etc Reminds me of the parable of the Good Samaritan :

Luke 10:25-37 New International Version (NIV)

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]”

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[c] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Gee nobody visited me at the hospital not even the deacon assigned to me and my family.who I do not even know they never contacted by any open channel from face to face to a simple letter or email.

Gee even know nobody has visit me nor had any type of communication with me from simple smoke signals to post-riders to a simple phone call to see how I am doing NADA its like the silence from doctor Who but in reverse a christianized hybrid it is not my choice not to be seen but theirs…

Gee I would understand if they were Gen Z kids and for some reason rotary phones were reintroduced replacing smartphones that I would understand:

Gee I never had a problem with a church I always made friends till now and becoming active using my God given gifts and experience.

I entered this church confident which later became hope and finally becoming hopelessness….it was like a Great Wall of China between us and the church tried to climb it nada, tried to go around it nada. I tried to enter thru the gate nada.

Till finally I just gave up now just going for these reasons:

-it is not good for Christians to be Lone Ranger Christians

We need a home church and I know there is no perfect church…If you are looking for it you are are like a modern day Ponce de Leon searching for the mythical fountain of Youth. You must find a church nonetheless that you can see the beauty and live with its particular thorns.

-I want to kids to know God while they are young

-ultimately to use my God given gifts, experience and the wisdom it flows with like a secret agent or like Asimov Foundation series(one of my favorite book series with lord of the rings and Thomas covenant)like hair seldon who saw the galactic empire will fall and to shorten the dark ages till a new one arose after developing psychohistory which if followed would do secretly had one group the Psychohistorians behind the scenes guiding the plan.

Gee it was so bad that when the pastor preached on Mary being on the outside margins of society,

And I said that’s how exactly how I feel as well as the visitors, strangers who did not fit the church mold ….

Who God will bring to our church sheep to be sheltered, feed, nurtured, clothed, protected and defended….

“On the margins unnoticed outside,a ghost

Neglected Ignored unvalued strangers ambiguous invisible a Galilean, Jew a second class christain ,a Samaritan and no good can come from Nazareth…

Gee now taking my own advice I must be a Moses to lead my people-my family to the promised land-where I can see both the beauty of the church and its thorns that both mars it’s beauty and adds to it……

Gee reminds me of this verse from Poison aptly named:

Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

Matt Damon, his movie the Great Wall and our Christian life

The Great Wall should remind us that we too likewise build in our lives using our personal Great Wall with our finite human bricks which are

Self centered ness

To keep at bay and not destroy the horde of sin

Destined to fail certainly

Because our enemy has dug right through it by the vey foundations of that wall our hearts, minds, souls wall our hearts, minds, souls have laid brick by brick

At certain points brittle and weak

According to our personal sinful preferences

the deceitfulness of sin’ (Heb. 3:13)

To fool ourselves or symbolic gestures to

Keep sin out

But like the matt Damon movie they snuck in

They found Achilles heel in this impregnable wall

Their Trojan horse in our great wall

our hearts, minds, souls have laid brick by brick

And not with the divine metal of God’s Word

At certain points brittle and weak

According to our personal sinful preferences

the deceitfulness of sin’ (Heb. 3:13)

Hey Jesus is not your boyfriend

Jesus is not my boyfriend said in many different ways

And my way;

I first encountered this lie as a struggling single and I call it a lie because no matter the way the girl packages it that what it is a Fat lie!!!

Why because both the girl and me know wha I mean which is:

A.Romantic dating

B.Physical attraction plus mental and heart attraction:

Song of Solomon

8  If you do not know,

O umost beautiful among women,

follow in the tracks of the flock,

and pasture your young goats

beside the shepherds’ tents.

9  I compare you, vmy love,

to wa mare among Pharaoh’s chariots.

10  xYour cheeks are lovely with ornaments,

your neck with strings of jewels.

The Beauty of her heart:

Ruth 1:

4 And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem. And he said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you!” And they answered, “The Lord bless you.” 5 Then Boaz said to his young man who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?” 6 And the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, “She is the young Moabite woman, who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab. 7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.’ So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, except for a short rest.”[c]

8 Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women. 9 Let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn.” 10 Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?” 11 But Boaz answered her, “All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before. 12 The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!” 13 Then she said, “I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants.”

C.Marital Love

And that you can never have with Jesus

D. It is deception on her part for the word of God says:

Matthew 5:27

But let your ‘yes’ mean ‘yes,’ and your ‘no’ mean ‘no.’ Anything more than this is from the evil one.

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

E. And this excuse seems biblical but is not rather it is akin to let us do evil so good will come out of it:

Romans 3:8

Let us do evil – That is, since sin is to promote the glory of God, let us commit as much as possible.

That good may come – That God may take occasion by it to promote his glory.(Albert Barnes)

F. Eventually the Guy will see thru this false veneer of Christian piety and either be more hurt ,a stumbling block or both

Matthew 19:

4He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.

Christ does not and never include Himself or even as a viable alternative…
