Road runner and the social mob

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. MLK

Gee the rush to tweet,Facebook and utilize social media Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

reminds me of this Wiley coyote road runner clip. When Roadrunner speed leaves Wiley coyote in the dust-similar to the social mob(from the rich to the famous to the common person)

leaving behind moral reasoning, logic, presumption of innocence, good old common sense, and hearing both sides of the story before passing judgement and mindlessly all but ready to pull the verbal gun and kill person or persons with words….

Proverbs 18:21 The Message

Words kill, words give life;
they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.

and then be full of so much pride, arrogance and lack repentance to not only issue a apology but continue in utter blind foolishness dressed as court jesters to justify oneself and hiding behind their false doctrine where Real truth is disregarded for lies- Senseless Anger and baseless rage and emotional outbursts expected from a young infant and directing at a imaginary incident with no foundation in reality or fact but a spin control presented by the groupthinks Big Brother, Pope to present its type of crucify! Crucify! Of their latest Jesus or sacrificial Lamb(s)or other delusional events a narrative for their followers embrace as Dogma…or narratives of group Truth- lies that a group embraces as their no questioning inerrant biblical Truth their group ex cathedra pope like a modern version of George Orwell 1984:

… with you have your truth but we have our truth is their illogical motto

is if this not ultimate proof of the biblical doctrine of (all of us )as natural born sinners nothing then is…

Reminds me of another MLK quote: I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Today people are not only judged by the color of their skin only but by labels Or logos protected by the first amendment to determine the content of their character…let me give you person examples of each:

First me and my friend dressed in Sunday clothes in a midtown NYC church got in a elevator to go to Sunday school class and two white old ladies as soon as they saw us a Hispanic and a black African American in obvious motion clutch their purses closer to their chest….

Lastly years ago in a college bible club one of the students labeling me a Calvinist (I prefer evangelical) was constantly challenging me not based on the word like the acts Berans but on baseless personal biases…

Acts 17:11

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

Another aslan reference

A couple of months ago I felt like aslan who took Lucy as Susan

To accompany him on the lonely up to a point: His green mile-Then from that point he must contained alone

Like Christ and Golgotha

Today I went to a specialist to be put back on kidney waiting list

And I felt like Aslan who took Lucy and Susan

To accompany him on the lonely road where a spiritual darkness assailed all his five senses all at once and he needed a friendly companion or two just to be there with him to a point

Then from that point onwards he must continue alone to the stone table

Not knowing what would await for Him beyond

https://youtu.be/LrMpRtCLeAM

Likewise I too needed such companionship

So I took my daughter Leilani with my appointment with destiny

CS Lewis one of my favorite authors of all time

Had this in mind in the chronicles of Narnia with the scene he wrote of Aslan being accompanied by Susan and Lucy on his lonely path to the stone table

And Christ in the garden of gethsemane taking his beloved disciples peter and Two other beloved disciples

Along with him to share his burden

Matthew 26:36-46 English Standard Version Anglicised (ESVUK)

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane

36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch[a] with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” 40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43 And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44 So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again. 45 Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Sleep and take your rest later on.[b] See, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand.”

Yet Aslan- Christ can see beyond his stone table-The Cross

His eternal victory in his resurrection and accession to the heavenly throne he left momentarily to save and redeem us

oh fallen mankind

Hebrews 12:1-2 English Standard Version (ESV)

Jesus, Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

And like another one of my favorite authors JRR Tolkien in Lord of the Rings:Book three:The return of the king

He will be our returning king that sinner and redeemer

Both living and dead will:

Philippians 2:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.:

Likewise I was going through my infinitely finite Via Dolorosa

And praise God He saw me through this

Since my feet has always been my Achilles heel since amputations of toes

The specialist said not only that there was nothing wrong with my feet

That I can return back to kidney waiting list

That I also qualified because of my control of my diabetes

A pancreas donation as well to slay further my diabetes……

All I have to say is thank you Lord….

Let God be God

God does need our permission to be God

We must accept that God be God

Not mar Him in our eyes with our sinful conceptions of finite creatures applying to a infinite,all-powerful,all-wise,ever-present,holy and always is-no-beginning/no ending :God who alone made time and space and everything that is…

Rest our gaze on His infinite attributes instead

Reminding Mr.beavers reply about aslan:

Aslan is a lion- the Lion, the great Lion.” “Ooh” said Susan. “I’d thought he was a man. Is he-quite safe? I shall feel rather nervous about meeting a lion”…”Safe?” said Mr Beaver …”Who said anything about safe? ‘Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King, I tell you.

When the world portrays us

Gee Are you serious moment

Came to me while watching the world view of thinking biblically a

A comedy world view of a Christian living biblically points

1.the writers are definitely not Christian (unfortunately when the world is describing that’s how they topically see and portray us under the guidance and hatred and resentment of sin)

2. At best they are more experts on American Church brand of Christianity or the worlds caricature of what a Christian is

3.their view of thinking biblically is far from the biblical view and is more a childish and immature literal view not taking to account

The Bible’s purpose for the Christian and unbelievers

The Bible’s infallibility

The Bible’s inspiration

the bible self witness

The Bible Clarity

The Bible time tested testimony

The Bible’s Old Testament history is fulfilled and interpreted in the New Testament

The cultural background

The clear portions of scripture to clear the unclear or vague

Proper interpretation does not isolated related scriptures but looks at all the scriptures on any given subject and are looked as a whole for a proper interpretation

The wall, congress, ostriches and The last judgement

Watching the news and seeing all the congressman years ago in their own words demand a wall against illegal immigration and not only demanding but voting yes for border security funding-in the halls of Congress, before TV cameras and in front of reporters anxiously recording their words and then speaking now against border security funding in a two face manner all I can do is nod my head in contempt -do they think the American audience has buried their heads in the sand all these years like ostriches…. with media and print recording their own words and actions the instant they say it or act-so they cannot deny it was them.

Gee it brings to my mind these biblical passages:

Matthew 12:36-37

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Ecclesiastes 12:14:

For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

So like Print and media our conscience our memory will either condemn or justify us our hypocrisy , our years of countless unforgiven and unrepentant personal sins-

On the Day of God’s last judgement and no amount of denials, right to change one’s mind or spin control will save us from justified fate either in eternal bliss or eternal misery…

Babies r us as we should be….

It is so beautiful and is both telling, witness and testimony when babies find themselves so safe and comfortable in your presence or a place(like church)to fall asleep🌈….

It is a portrait of christains in the midsts of lifes up and downs, sunny days, cloudy days and rainy days secure in Christ’s redeeming, gracious ,loving and everything else saving presence that only believers can experience first here on earth ( and is a foretaste of mheaven here on earth and the future reality )and then heaven….psalms 4:8,121:3 and 91:1-5

Dora the explorer play,Hamilton on broadway and the Bible

I always complained about not seeing:

Dora the play with my kids or not seeing

Hamilton with my wife

Ironic isn’t ????

Hispanics not able to see a character that is Hispanic or a play written by a fellow Hispanic who happens to be a creative genius

Not seeing one or the other

Priced beyond our range

Then my gee moment came when I started to ponder:

What if the bible was priced beyond our price range- a luxury like Disneyland You have to save for years till you and your family can enjoy it….

How would react???

Will it be this way:

I read somewhere how a Puritan of old preached a sermon imitating God who was so upset with that congregations neglect ,apathy ,and indifference to His word-that the old puritan made several motions imitating God taking the Bible in deed and word threat to take His bible away from His people and each time then imitated his churchthe congregation brought to tears implored begged God please do not take your scriptures away from us-we will now always cherish and mine daily all its inexhaustible hidden treasures etc

Here it is I found it:

A great Puritan evangelist, John Rogers, warned his congregation against neglecting Scripture by telling them what God might say: “I have trusted you so long with my Bible … it lies in [some] houses all covered with dust and cobwebs, you care not to listen to it. Do you use my Bible so? Well, you shall have my Bible no longer.”

Rogers then picked up his Bible and started walking away from the pulpit. Then he stopped, fell on his knees, and took on the voice of the people, who pleaded, “Lord, whatever Thou dost to us, take not Thy Bible from us; kill our children, burn our houses, destroy our goods; only spare us Thy Bible, take not away Thy Bible.”

“Say you so?” the minister replied, impersonating God. “Well, I will try you a while longer; and here is my Bible for you. I will see how you use it, whether you will search it more, love it more, observe it more, and live more according to it.”

Thomas Goodwin was so moved by Rogers’s dramatic presentation that when he left church he wept upon his horse’s neck for fifteen minutes before he felt strong enough to mount it.

Psa 19:10 KJV – 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Psalms 119

It is well-known that Puritans were lovers of the Word of God. They were not content with the bare affirmation of the infallibility, inerrancy, and authority of Scripture. They read, searched, sang, and heard the Word with delight, always seeking for and relishing the applying power of the Holy Spirit accompanying the Word. They regarded the sixty-six books of Holy Scripture as the library of the Holy Spirit graciously given to them. For the Puritan, Scripture is God speaking to us, as a father speaks to his children. In Scripture God gives us His Word as both a word of truth and a word of power. As a word of truth, we can trust in and rest our all upon Scripture for time and eternity. As a word of power, we can look to Scripture as the source of trans- formation used by the Spirit of God to renew our minds.

Scripture teaches us that the Word of God must not only be read publicly in worship (Acts 15:21; 1 Tim. 4:13), but also serves as a blessing when personally read, heard, and obeyed. “Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are writ-

ten in it” (Rev. 1:3).

(To the puritans who can teach us bible study and bible reading and everything in between was no practice to play bible charades ,biblenopoly ,bible trivia engaged with other believers in gospel conference where they discussed means of applying what they were learning in the Bible to every facet in life..)

Or continue still in your neglect, apathy, indifference and laziness:

2 Timothy 4:3-4

There are times when solitude is better than society, and silence is wiser than speech. We should be better Christians if we were more alone, waiting upon God, and gathering through meditation on His Word spiritual strength for labour in his service. We ought to muse upon the things of God, because we thus get the real nutriment out of them. . . . Why is it that some Christians, although they hear many sermons, make but slow advances in the divine life? Because they neglect their closets, and do not thoughtfully meditate on God’s Word. They love the wheat, but they do not grind it; they would have the corn, but they will not go forth into the fields to gather it; the fruit hangs upon the tree, but they will not pluck it; the water flows at their feet, but they will not stoop to drink it. From such folly deliver us, O Lord. . . .”Charles H. Spurgeon
